Porcelain crowns and veneers

Porcelain crowns

A crown is a type of dental restoration used to fix teeth that have been cracked, broken, weakened by decay or heavily filled. We use handmade porcelain crowns to completely cover the visible part of your tooth, making it strong and giving it the shape of your natural tooth. Your porcelain crown will be tailor-made to match the colour of your other teeth, giving it a natural appearance that blends in with the rest of your mouth.

Crowns can be used to replace discoloured fillings to give you a more aesthetic smile. Crowns can also be used to protect or cap a restored tooth after root canal treatment , giving it strength so you can bite and chew. Additionally, crowns can be used to anchor a bridge or denture firmly in place in your mouth.

Porcelain veneers

Porcelain veneers are thin, custom-made pieces of porcelain that cover the front of your teeth. They are ideal for concealing stained, chipped or crooked teeth, or for reducing or closing the gaps between your teeth.

Veneers look and feel like your natural teeth and do not require a major procedure to bond them onto your teeth. You can have a single veneer or a whole set, depending on your individual needs.

For a single stained or chipped tooth, we can match your porcelain veneer with the precise shade of your other teeth so that it blends in completely. If one tooth is slightly out of position, a veneer can sometimes be fitted to bring it in line with the others. We can also adjust the shape of your veneers to make your teeth look longer or closer together.

We tailor our cosmetic treatment to meet your individual needs and to ensure you are happy with your teeth and smile.
