3D scanning: Using cutting-edge 3D technology, Kostas will scan your teeth to create a precise treatment plan. Kostas will fine tune movement, and you will see how your teeth will be moved into position on screen before treatment begins.
Customised aligners: Your bespoke set of Angel Aligners will be crafted, incorporating any necessary angelButtons for optimal results. You take home your series of aligners and wear each set for a minimum of 22 hours a day for up to two weeks before being replaced by the next in the series. You remove them to eat and drink and then reinsert them afterwards.
It may be that you have black triangles where the teeth are touching or the teeth are too close together and there is not enough space to allow for orthodontic movement. Interproximal reduction is a painless and gentle procedure using a file, disc or bur to reshape the enamel, creating space for the teeth to be moved into, as per your bespoke orthodontic treatment plan.
Ongoing support: Regular check-ins ensure your treatment progresses smoothly, with adjustments made as needed.
Retention: We recommend both a bonded fixed retainer and clear, removable retainers for night-time use to ensure your teeth remain in their aligned position.
Treatment time varies between six to eighteen months. However, sometimes additional scans and refinement aligners may be required, and therefore more time; this will not change your fee quoted at the start of treatment.
During your treatment you should keep up your regular dental check-ups with your usual dentist. We will show you how to keep your aligners clean, and review how to clean your teeth. We recommend at least one professional clean with our hygienist during your treatment, as oral hygiene must be kept to a very high standard; poor oral hygiene may delay treatment and compromise the health of your teeth. Our hygienist will show how best to keep your mouth healthy during your orthodontic treatment.
Kostas offers a free orthodontic consultation (with a £50 refundable deposit), where he will assess and scan using 3D technology to determine your bespoke Angel Aligner treatment plan and timeframe involved. Kostas accepts referrals from other dentists for clear aligner treatment.
