Types of dentures
Dentures are designed to replace all or some of the teeth, and they come in different types. The dentures that replace all the teeth are commonly known as complete or full dentures and they rest on the gums. The stability and retention of these dentures can be improved by attaching them to dental implants.
On the other hand, dentures that replace some, but not all, of the teeth are known as partial dentures. These dentures are securely attached to the teeth that are still present, covering the gaps in your mouth.

Essential dentures are made of an acrylic base with durable plastic teeth, which cannot be stained easily. These dentures are cheaper than customised cosmetic dentures, but they look natural because they are made from three layers of resin.

How do I care for my dentures in Farnham?
Even though dentures are very durable, you are not supposed to brush them with regular toothpaste. After cleaning them thoroughly with a special liquid, you should rinse them and soak them in a water-based cleaning solution overnight. You can wear your dentures at night, but it is better to remove them in order to let your gums relax. You should never wear your dentures 24 hours a day without cleaning them properly.
