Hi to all on this sunny Shrove Tuesday (also known in Commonwealth countries as Pancake Tuesday or Pancake day)! This is the Tuesday in February or March immediately preceding Ash Wednesday (the first day of Lent), which is celebrated in some countries by consuming pancakes. In other countries, especially where it is called Mardi Gras (French for ‘fat Tuesday’), this is a carnival day and the last night of eating richer foods before the fasting period of Lent begins, which lasts for 40 days.

Tooth decay can lead to the deterioration of a tooth or teeth to the point that fillings are no longer a viable option and extraction is the only choice available.
