Left untreated, periodontitis (severe gum disease) is a major cause of tooth loss, as well as being a risk factor for diabetes and heart disease. So it is important to see your dentist and hygienist to look after your dental health as well as your overall health!

Reinstating regular visits to your dentist or hygienist will keep your teeth and gums in excellent condition and prevent problems developing. This preventive approach to dental care means that any issues can be identified early, enabling prompt treatment. Importantly, mouth cancer checks are performed at all routine appointments.
We wish to reassure that as a medical setting we are bound by strict guidelines set out by governing bodies and will continue to adhere to these, enabling us to offer our full range of dental treatments to our patients.
As we start 2022, we continue to work with enhanced PPE (personal protective equipment including FFP3 masks), virus filtration and a stringent infection control policy in place to protect our patients and team.
We have removed the additional Covid surcharges from all appointments as of January 2022. However, due to the continued enhanced PPE, decontamination and logistical procedures, as well as rises in stock and running costs, we will be implementing a fee increase from the same time. Prior to Covid, we have not increased most of our fees for over 5 years.
The procedures for attending an appointment will remain in place, and will continue until further notice. Our practice has changed slightly since this short video, as we issue all patients a mask, and ask belongings to be kept to a minimum while in the clinic.
