With dental implants, you can get your life back on track after tooth loss

Dental implants provide your dentist with a permanent way to replace your missing teeth. Elmsleigh House Dental Clinic in Farnham offers a number of implant-based treatments, designed to replace anything from one to all of your teeth, no matter how you came to lose them.

There are two key points to remember about dental implants. The first is that they are the only permanent solution to tooth loss, which will stay with you for many years – even for life in some cases – as long as you take good care of them. The second is that they are the only way your dentist can replace the root parts of lost teeth. This is not just important to ensuring your teeth stay stable and functional, but also to making sure that your jaw bone remains healthy and strong.

A shrinking jaw bone is the biggest reason traditional dentures are prone to lose their comfortable, snug fit over time. At our Farnham dental practice we create modern dentures that are excellent in terms of both function and appearance. To get the most out of your dentures, we recommend that you stabilise them with dental implants.

Farnham dental implants

Whether you have lost one, some, or all of your natural teeth, you are welcome at Elmsleigh House Dental Clinic in Farnham for a consultation about dental implants. After a thorough examination by an implant dentist, they will recommend the best course of treatment to suit your needs.

Depending on your clinical needs, your Farnham dentist may recommend:

One dental implant, one crown – For the replacement of a single tooth. If you have teeth missing in different locations in your mouth, you can also have an implant placed in each location and a crown attached to every implant.

A series of dental implants, plus a dental bridge –For several missing teeth, a series of dental implants and a bridge are used at our Farnham clinic. An implant-retained bridge can also be used to replace all the teeth in one or both jaws.

Denture stabilisation – Between two and four dental implants are placed and your denture attached.
