Tim Thackrah, Owner and Chairman of Elmsleigh House Dental Clinic, recently stepped down from clinical work. Rest assured he has left his patients in excellent hands as he has built and mentored the strong clinical team we have today. Tim has had an epic career in dentistry spanning 40 years, qualifying in 1982 with honours at the Royal Dental Hospital, London. He has worked in hospitals, NHS care, teaching and, since 1986, private practice at Elmsleigh House Dental Clinic.
Tim soon excelled in dental implants and cosmetic dentistry, undertaking advanced courses in restorative dentistry, bone regeneration and implant dentistry. He brought more than 30 years' experience placing dental implants, becoming an opinion leader on implants, lecturing and training dentists in all aspects of the field.

Tim even made TV appearances on Blue Peter and Tomorrow's World, demonstrating his intra-oral imaging system on Carol Vorderman (see pictures below). He continues to ensure the team at Elmsleigh House use state-of-the-art technology to offer the best treatment to our patients.
