Brush your teeth for two minutes last thing at night and at least one other time during the day with a fluoride toothpaste, as this helps protect teeth from cavities and makes teeth stronger - Clean between your teeth every day with dental floss or interdental brushes (eg TePe) - Cut down on sugary food and drink, as sugar has been identified as a major factor in dental decay, reducing sugar to meal times only - Visit your dentist and hygienist for regular check-ups, as they will closely monitor the health of your teeth and mouth, including screening for oral cancer. The team at Elmsleigh House Dental Clinic believe that everyone deserves a healthy smile. A person's oral health is a crucial part of their overall wellbeing, so it is important to look after your teeth and mouth.   Watch Gill, one of our hygienists, show you how to brush your teeth effectively at home in our short video:       The dental team at Elmsleigh House are here to help you keep your teeth as healthy as possible for life. We see patients of all ages for general and family dentistry, and are valued for our high-quality and consistent care.
